The operational and contractual basics — enough to know what working with me looks like before we talk.
Estimate
If we're a fit, I send a written estimate within a week. It covers scope, timeline, deliverables, and investment — clear enough that you can decide without follow-up questions.
Contract & NDA
Standard professional agreement, signed before work starts. I'm comfortable working with my contracts and NDA templates for clients who don't have their own, and equally comfortable signing yours when your team has standard documents in place.
AI infrastructure
I work with my own AI setup by default — Claude (Anthropic) configured with prompt patterns, evaluation methods, and output standards I've refined over years. This is what makes "the capability of a small team" possible.
If you prefer I work within your AI infrastructure (Claude Enterprise, ChatGPT Enterprise, internal tools), that's an option. Setup takes additional billable time — adapting prompts, calibrating outputs, integrating with your security context.
Modality
Remote by default. On-site presence available when the project benefits from it. Bay Area-based, open to travel as the work requires. Bilingual and bicultural across US and Mexico.
Payment
Fractional engagements run on monthly retainer. Project engagements run on milestone payments tied to reviewable deliverables. Both are detailed in the estimate.
Review cadence
Regular checkpoints throughout — weekly for Fractional, every two weeks for Project. The format adapts to your team's rhythm.
Exit
The handoff is part of the work. Documentation, capability transfer, and a clean close — so your team owns what was built or done.
